Setting up Skills

    

The Skills area is your central library of qualifications and requirements. It stores the skills that can be assigned as attainments to people, equipment, and companies. All skills must be housed here first, so they can then be linked to worksites, companies, people, or equipment for management and expiry monitoring.

This guide covers:

  • Opening the Skills Section and hitting the Add Icon
  • Assigning skills to people, equipment, or companies
  • Choosing date‑based or hours‑based skill types
  • Adding a skill name, company code, and default review period
  • Entering hours, industry codes, and competency definitions as required
  • Saving new skills to update the library

Setting up skills creates a central, reliable reference for compliance across your workforce, assets, and contractors.
